Meet Our Family

Hello and welcome!

We just wanted to take a minute to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We know this must be a difficult time in your life with an overwhelming decision that lies before you. Know that we admire you for your courage and strength in considering adoption. We hope this website gives you the information about our family that you may need at this time.

We are Brandon, Charley, Gage and Carter!

Brandon and I (Charley) have been married for 6 years and have been blessed with 2 beautiful little boys through the miracle of adoption. We hope to add a precious baby girl or another sweet little boy to our family through another miracle.

How we met
It all started in a college night class about 7 years ago. Brandon liked to make an entrance into class so he always came in late. Charley doesn't like to bring attention to herself so she was always already seated in class. She was immediately drawn to his blond, curly, surfer-style hair, bright blue eyes and shorts!

Since Brandon wasn’t really looking for a relationship he just sat with his friend in the back of the room. Well his friend really wanted him to ask Charley out, so the friend started talking to her and invited her to sit with them. She did and then Brandon invited her to get some ice cream after class. They made a habit out of it for the rest of the semester, until Brandon finally saw that there was really something special about her. He wanted to get to know her better. {Jordan River Temple ~ May 28, 2004}

We had our ‘official’ first date the day after Thanksgiving. We went to dinner and then to see the lights at Temple Square. Brandon likes to tease Charley that she made the first move and held his hand first, because there was black ice on the street. Brandon claims he didn’t see any black ice but kept hold of her hand anyway. We have been together every day since then. We were married for time and eternity in the Jordan River Temple six short months later and have been enjoying every minute of it!

Our Home
We bought our house a little over 2 years ago and have enjoyed turning it into our home. We feel that it is in the perfect location on a nice quiet cul-de-sac with a large yard filled with fun things for the kids. It is within walking distance from the library, elementary school, neighborhood parks and our church!

We strive to make our home our own personal sanctuary from the world filled with love; love for each other, love for the gospel, and most importantly love for our Savior. As President Monson states, 'When we have sampled much and have wandered far and have seen how fleeting and sometimes superficial a lot of the world is, our gratitude grows for the privilege of being part of something we can count on - home and family and the loyalty of loved ones.' Our goal is to make our home a haven of love, peace and happiness, where the Spirit of the Lord chooses to dwell.
